Away days, summer parties, product launches and company celebrations, with covered space for up to 300 and no other event on site. An hour from most of the Midlands and nothing like a conference suite.
Every company that has ever run an away day knows the problem: you book a hotel suite, everyone sits in the same rows they sit in at the office, and by half past two the room has quietly gone back to answering email.
Moving people outdoors changes the dynamic before anyone says a word. Conversations happen between the sessions rather than in them. People who never speak in a boardroom talk around a fire pit. That is not a soft benefit — it is generally the entire reason you left the office.
And unlike most outdoor venues, there is a heated, lit, floored structure here if the weather turns, so the plan does not collapse in October.
Space to split into groups and come back together, indoors or out, without booking three separate rooms. Mains power throughout. Ask us about wifi and mobile coverage before you plan anything around being online.
The obvious one, and the one a wood does better than a tent in a car park. Street food, a bar, fire pits and enough acreage that three hundred people do not feel packed in.
Sides down, heaters on, fires lit. A genuinely different December party from the hotel ballroom everyone has been to for nine years running.
Exclusive use means no other logo on site and no other event in the background of your photographs. The setting does a lot of work for a brand that wants to look anything other than corporate.
Milestones, retirements, end of a big project. Long tables under canvas and fire pits afterwards, with parking inside the wood and room for a coach at the gate.
Forty acres of managed woodland with vehicle access, power and a covered base. Day rates on request.
The structure, the bar, the washrooms and the services are permanent. You are not building a site from nothing, which is what makes a one-day corporate booking viable at all.
We publish our wedding prices in full and we are not going to be coy with you either. A corporate day is quoted against the same forty acres and the same permanent structure, so the shape of the number is the same: it moves with the day of the week, the month and the headcount. Midweek and November to March are materially cheaper than a summer Saturday.
Our published wedding tariff is the honest ceiling for what this site costs, and it is on the prices page. Nobody has to prise a number out of us to find out whether we are in range.
Everything that matters is under a heated, floored, lit structure, and the call to move under cover is made in the morning rather than at the last minute. An outdoor plan here has an indoor plan built into it, which is the part most outdoor venues cannot say and the part your director will ask about first.
Parking is inside the wood and there is room for a coach at the gate. For a company event a coach from the office or the nearest station is usually the cleanest answer: it fixes the timings, it gets everyone home, and it takes the drink-driving question off your desk entirely. Kidderminster is the nearest mainline station, about fifteen minutes away, with four trains an hour to Birmingham Snow Hill and Moor Street and two an hour to Worcester. Birmingham city centre is roughly fifty minutes by road and Worcester thirty-five. One thing worth passing on to people: Bewdley has a station of its own, but it is the Severn Valley heritage line and it will not get anybody here from Birmingham — tell them Kidderminster.
Yes. The clearing, the structure, the bar and the washrooms are step-free and reachable on level chipped path. Tell us in advance who needs closer access and we will get vehicles nearer rather than making anyone walk it.
Ask us what it takes to hold a date — we would rather hold it properly than have you lose it while a purchase order works its way through.
Cover, certificates and site risk assessments are available on request and your caterer and bar supplier will each need their own.
Ask us about coverage and on-site wifi. Worth asking early if any part of your day depends on being online.
We will come back within a working day with availability and a price. Site visits any day, by appointment.
Forty acres of ancient woodland near Bewdley, hired to one wedding at a time. Tipis or a tent raised for you, a licensed ceremony under the oaks, and room for three hundred.
