One couple at a time, by appointment, any day of the week. We will walk the whole site, answer the awkward questions, and tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
We meet you at the gate and walk the site in the order a wedding day runs: the clearing, the canvas, the bar and the fire pits. It takes about an hour. Wear something you do not mind getting muddy — it is a wood, not a showroom.
Bring whoever is helping you decide. Parents, the friend with the spreadsheet, the one who will ask about parking. It is easier to answer everyone at once than to answer the same question three times by email.
Prefer email? Write to info@forestwedding.co.uk. Or read the venue guide — five pages with the prices, capacities and a plan of the site, on the page or as a PDF.
Tell us roughly what you are planning and we will come back with what is free and what it would cost. No brochure gate — the prices are already on the site.
A real answer from a person, with the dates still free for what you have described and what those dates would cost. Not an automated brochure.
About an hour on site, at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends. We only ever show one couple at a time, so the wood is empty apart from you.
No pressure to decide in the car park. If you want it, a deposit confirms it — ask us for the terms in writing. If you do not, tell us and we release it. Either is fine.
Worcestershire, on the Shropshire border. Close enough to the motorway network that guests from Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester can all be here inside a morning, and far enough into the forest that you cannot hear a road from the clearing.
Wyre Forest, near Bewdley, Worcestershire. We send the postcode, the gate to come in by and what3words with your viewing confirmation. There is more on getting here, coaches, taxis and where your guests can stay.
A wood is not the right venue for everybody. If you want a room with a carpet, a co-ordinator in an earpiece and a wedding that runs to a printed schedule, there are places that do that very well and we are not one of them. We would sooner say so on the phone than take a deposit and leave you to work that out on the day.
Forty acres of ancient woodland near Bewdley, hired to one wedding at a time. Tipis or a tent raised for you, a licensed ceremony under the oaks, and room for three hundred.
