Venue guide · 2026 – 2027

Forty acres of ancient woodland, and only your wedding in it

Tipis or a tent raised for you in a clearing, a licensed ceremony under the oaks, room for three hundred, and not one other wedding on the site.

Five pages: what is on the ground, the capacities, and the full price list. We will email it and nothing else unless you ask.

The venue

A working woodland, with the services buried under it

There is no themed signage, no astroturf and no reclaimed door leaning against a tree. It is oak, hazel and birch, the way the Wyre Forest has been for centuries. What we have added is buried where you cannot see it.

Power, water and drainage run to the clearing. The paths are chipped and level enough for heels, wheelchairs and grandmothers, and they hold up in November. The bar and washroom block were built to be used four hundred times rather than once. That is the difference between a field with a view and a venue, and you notice it at eleven at night in the rain rather than at two in the afternoon in June.

Capacity

Three hundred people, and where they sit

Three hundred is the site limit. What changes between layouts is how many of those three hundred are sitting down at the same moment. A tent takes more covers in the same footprint. The tipis are the better room to be in.

Our prices, in public

Exclusive use of forty acres, structure included: the whole of your wedding day, and the following morning to collect everything. One wedding on site at a time, and nobody else in the wood. One wedding on site at a time. We are open all year and the canvas is heated, so a winter date is a real option rather than a fallback.

Come and see it

Photographs do not tell you how big forty acres is

Viewings are by appointment, seven days a week, and we only ever show one couple at a time. It takes about an hour on foot. Wear something you do not mind getting muddy — it is a wood, not a showroom. Come on a wet Tuesday if you can: anywhere looks good in June, and you learn far more about a venue in the rain.
